Gate Opens Moonshot AI Pre IPO Access for KIMI
Gate has introduced KIMI Asset Certificates to let traders gain exposure to Moonshot AI before its official public listing.
Gate has kicked off the third phase of its Pre IPOs project by offering users a way to invest in Moonshot AI. Through the new KIMI Asset Certificates, participants can secure early exposure to the AI company, which is currently valued at roughly $50 billion. The subscription window runs from August 11 to August 13, 2026, with prices estimated between $105 and $115 per share.
Investors can participate using either USDT or GUSD, with a minimum entry requirement of 10,000 units of either currency. The platform notes that a 5% service fee applies to the initial subscription. Additionally, if the investment generates future excess returns, a 20% performance fee will be charged. Certificates will be distributed on August 17, with trading expected to begin in a dedicated market about one month later.
To encourage participation, Gate is including yield incentives. Users who subscribe with GUSD earn a 3.8% annual percentage rate from U.S. Treasury bills, while USDT subscribers who do not receive an allocation also get a 3.8% return on their funds. VIP users may also qualify for an exclusive airdrop program related to the project.
While this offers a unique way to track the value of a major AI developer, traders should note the risks. Since the target company has not yet gone public, the project faces uncertainty regarding IPO timelines and market liquidity. If the IPO fails to materialize or other conditions are triggered, refunds will be processed based on the platform guidelines.
