LIVESeptember started with a clear shift in investor appetite as money moved away from the market leader. On Tuesday, Bitcoin ETFs recorded significant outflows of $236.46 million. This downturn left the overall weekly performance in the red, even as investors looked toward alternative assets to park their capital.
In contrast, altcoin funds had a strong showing. Solana ETFs brought in $10.19 million, and Ethereum funds added $10.95 million to their ongoing streak of positive inflows. Ethereum in particular has not seen a single day of net outflows since mid August, showing steady demand from institutional investors.
XRP stole the spotlight on Tuesday by capturing $14.38 million in inflows. This figure was nearly triple the amount the funds attracted just one day prior. This performance extends a strong streak for XRP products, which have seen minimal net outflows since early July. The consistent buying pressure highlights a growing interest in the asset among those trading through institutional vehicles.
Despite the success of the ETF products, the price of XRP has struggled to maintain its earlier momentum. After a sharp climb to $1.70 in mid August, the token faced heavy selling pressure and now sits below $1.35. Traders are currently watching to see if the consistent ETF inflows can help the asset find a new support level and eventually regain its previous highs.
