Wirex BaaS Hits $2B Annualised Volume in Major Stablecoin Push
Wirex Banking as a Service sees massive growth, doubling its annualised card spend volume to $2 billion in just 110 days.
Wirex is seeing rapid adoption for its Banking as a Service platform. The infrastructure provider reached $2 billion in annualised onchain card spend volume this July. This milestone comes quickly, as the firm reached its first $1 billion mark only 131 days prior, showing a significant acceleration in how businesses use stablecoin rails for daily payments.
Businesses are moving away from building their own complex financial systems from scratch. By using Wirex, companies can integrate card issuance, cross border payouts, and real time settlement through a single connection. The platform currently works with over 70 clients, including names like BingX and Cardano, and signs more than 15 new partners every month.
This growth aligns with a broader trend in the industry where stablecoin settlement volumes have surged over 60 percent year on year. As market participants look for ways to bridge blockchain technology with traditional spending, Wirex is positioning itself as a primary gateway. Investors and industry followers should keep an eye on the company, as they plan to roll out another major stablecoin product later this month.
