Hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor recently confirmed that a security breach at its shipping provider, ShipMonk, led to the exposure of customer data. The incident affected 13,689 individuals who recently purchased devices. The stolen information includes names, email addresses, and physical shipping addresses.

While the breach did not compromise private keys or funds, the exposure of contact details creates a significant risk for targeted phishing attacks. Hackers often use this type of information to send fake emails that attempt to trick users into revealing their recovery seeds. Because physical addresses were leaked, customers should also be extra cautious about their home security.

Trezor has stated that they are contacting all affected customers directly. If you purchased a device recently, stay alert for suspicious emails or messages.
