LIVERipple has cast its vote in favor of two significant amendments for the XRP Ledger. These updates, known as the Single Asset Vault and the Lending Protocol, are designed to introduce institutional grade financial tools directly onto the blockchain.
The Single Asset Vault, or XLS 65, allows users to store assets like XRP or the RLUSD stablecoin with added security and structure. Meanwhile, the Lending Protocol, or XLS 66, introduces fixed term credit options. These features are intended to make the network more useful for complex financial activities.
By bringing these tools to the ledger, Ripple is pushing to expand its footprint in the decentralized finance space. These changes aim to make tokenization and lending more accessible for both individual users and institutions.
Traders and developers should keep an eye on how these amendments perform as they move through the final stages of the activation process. If fully implemented, these tools could change how liquidity flows across the XRP network.
