MEV Bot Front Runs $7.8M rsETH Exploit on Ethereum

A clever MEV bot known as Yoink managed to front run an attack targeting a Safe wallet on Ethereum on Tuesday. Security analysts at PeckShield reported that the incident involved an exploit of roughly 7.81 million dollars worth of rsETH.

Onchain data reveals that the Yoink transaction successfully intercepted the attack. The bot received 2,900 rsETH and quickly sent 2,882.37 rsETH to a secure destination, beating the original attacker to the funds.
