Metaplanet Shifts 2,100 BTC To Build New US Treasury

Japanese Bitcoin treasury firm Metaplanet is taking its strategy across the Pacific. The company announced plans to expand into the United States through an investment in Nasdaq listed Super League Enterprise. Under a definitive agreement, Metaplanet will use its wholly owned United States subsidiary to fund the move.

The deal includes a contribution of 2,100 Bitcoin, valued at roughly $132.1 million, alongside $2.5 million in cash. This major transfer signals a growing trend of corporate entities using Bitcoin as a primary reserve asset on American stock exchanges.
