Kraken Users Report Trouble With Withdrawals
Kraken is dealing with a withdrawal backlog as funding issues continue to affect the exchange.
Kraken informed its users on Tuesday that withdrawal services were experiencing delays. This marks the second technical issue for the exchange in a single day, following reports that account balance histories were displaying outdated information. While the exchange confirmed it identified the cause of the delay, it has not yet provided a timeline for a full recovery.
The exchange currently shows 23 funding services as degraded. While trading operations and website access remain functional, users are unable to move their assets off the platform as quickly as usual. This incident follows a series of deposit issues that began on September 4, affecting over 20 blockchain networks including ATOM and TIA.
Reliability is currently a major focus for Kraken as the parent company prepares for a future public offering and aims to expand its institutional services. Investors and traders will be watching closely to see how quickly the firm can restore full functionality and stabilize its funding infrastructure, as smooth movement of capital remains a key metric for exchange health.
