Kraken Outshines Binance in AI Exchange Recommendations

Crypto traders are shifting their research habits away from traditional search engines and toward AI chatbots. A recent analysis known as the citeOS Exchange Index examined how ten major centralized exchanges perform when AI models suggest platforms to users. The findings show a surprising trend where smaller exchanges often receive more favorable mentions than their larger competitors.

Even though Binance processes five times the trading volume of Kraken, the AI engines involved in the study favored Kraken more often. This disconnect suggests that current AI algorithms may not be prioritizing trading liquidity or platform size when they answer user questions about where to trade digital assets.

This shift is significant because many newcomers rely on AI tools to pick their first exchange. If search patterns continue to favor certain brands over others, it could change how market share is distributed in the coming years. Traders should remain aware that AI recommendations do not always reflect the actual scale or activity levels of a crypto exchange.
