LIVEHyperliquid spot ETFs finally saw a positive turn for the week ending August 7. Investors added 2.84 million dollars to these funds, putting an end to a painful three week stretch that saw 30.6 million dollars in total outflows. This recovery brings the cumulative net inflows for the product to 280.8 million dollars.
The recent slide was quite sharp, with the week ending July 31 alone seeing 14.7 million dollars in redemptions. JPMorgan analysts previously pointed to heavy market competition as a primary factor for the cooling interest. HYPE tokens have also felt the pressure, currently trading near 54.75 dollars, which is a significant drop from the record high of 76.87 dollars set back in June.
This recovery for Hyperliquid aligns with a broader trend across the crypto sector. Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs led the market by bringing in over one billion dollars in combined weekly inflows. While the majors are surging, interest in smaller altcoin products has cooled off significantly compared to the high activity seen earlier this summer.
Market observers are now watching to see if this momentum holds or if investors will remain focused only on the largest coins. With total crypto ETF inflows showing strength, the coming weeks will determine if smaller tokens like HYPE can sustain this return to positive territory.
