Hunter Biden confirmed plans to launch a memecoin named LAPTOP, sharing the ticker and a September 9 release date on social media. The token will deploy on Base, which is Coinbase, and the project specifically targets traders who bought Donald Trump tokens and ended up losing money.

Out of the total supply of 1 billion tokens, 20 percent is reserved for airdrops across two rounds. These airdrops are planned for wallets that lost money on TRUMP tokens, alongside subscribers to Biden's Substack and video journalist Andrew Callaghan's mailing list. Founders will control 300 million tokens with a six month lockup, while other portions go toward market making, legal costs, and potential token burns tied to future milestones.
