Ethereum Foundation Appoints Security Expert to Governing Board

The Ethereum Foundation has announced that Pascal Caversaccio will join its four member governing board for a one year term. Caversaccio is well known for his work in security research and for authoring the Ethereum Cypherpunk Manifesto. He joins Vitalik Buterin, Aya Miyaguchi, and Patrick Storchenegger to help shape the long term vision and oversight of the network.

Caversaccio brings significant experience to the role through his work with SEAL 911 and the Silviculture Society. His focus on censorship resistance and privacy is expected to strengthen the Foundation as it manages the complex needs of the Ethereum ecosystem. While governance updates typically have little immediate impact on price, investors often view these changes as key indicators of the platform’s future priorities.

Market performance for Ethereum remains steady as the asset trades near $1,920. Traders are currently watching a technical hurdle at $1,930, which could serve as a springboard toward the $2,000 mark.
