LIVEThe company behind the decentralized exchange aggregator Odos has announced it is winding down operations. Users have until July 27 to interact with the platform before it moves to read only mode, and all services will cease permanently on July 30. While the platform has handled over $100 billion in volume, the team will no longer provide maintenance or support.
For those who use Odos with a wallet created through an email or social login, it is critical to export private keys or transfer assets to a self custody wallet immediately. Funds held in standard crypto wallets remain on chain and under user control, but the interface for managing them will disappear once the site goes offline.
The team clarified that the ODOS token and the Odos DAO operate independently of the closing company. They warned users to be extremely cautious of potential scams. There are no plans for token migrations, new airdrops, or reward claims, so any accounts messaging users with these offers are malicious attempts to steal funds.
Odos launched in 2022 as a spin out from Semiotic Labs. With the shutdown approaching, the community is watching to see how the decentralized governance structures manage the transition for the remaining token holders.
