LIVEBitcoin recently jumped by 4.3% in a single day to push back above the $80,000 level. This recent strength comes after a tough third quarter for digital assets. The leading cryptocurrency also recorded a strong monthly gain that led some traders to believe the worst of the bear market is finally behind us.
Despite the positive price action, analysts at Fidelity suggest that investors should stay cautious. They point to Bitcoin's historical four year market cycle, which could mean another potential low might arrive around November 2026. However, the firm also noted that the actual bottom could already be in, or that future lows might happen sooner depending on broader macroeconomic shifts.
Market watchers are also keeping a close eye on regulatory developments like the stalled CLARITY Act and new SEC proposals for crypto asset rules. At the same time, strong network adoption and rising stablecoin volumes suggest that underlying demand remains high. Traders will want to watch whether Bitcoin can hold these recent price gains or if volatility brings another test of lower support levels soon.
