Binance is gearing up for a busy week with scheduled system upgrades and a fresh batch of token delistings. The major cryptocurrency exchange announced that US stock trading services will pause temporarily on August 8. This brief interruption is due to system maintenance carried out by an external broker, and the team expects normal operations to resume in about three hours.

Alongside the upgrade, Binance is clearing out several spot trading pairs that fail to meet its liquidity and volume standards. Starting August 7, users will no longer be able to trade QNT/BTC, RPL/USDC, SIGN/BNB, and SKL/USDC. The exchange noted that removing these specific pairs does not mean the underlying tokens are leaving the platform entirely, as traders can still access them through other available pairs.

Routine housekeeping like this happens frequently on top tier exchanges to keep order books healthy. While total token removals often trigger sharp price drops, partial spot pair removals usually cause minimal market disruption. Traders holding the affected assets should check alternative pairs to plan their next moves.
