Binance Delists Six Tokens After Monitoring Period
Binance is removing six digital assets from its exchange following a review of its internal quality standards.
Binance announced it will delist Across Protocol, Hashflow, PIVX, Vulcan Forged, Vanar, and Viction on August 17. The exchange stated that these projects no longer meet its specific requirements for listing. This decision follows a regular review process that examines team commitment, trading volume, and security.
Prices for most of the affected tokens fell sharply shortly after the announcement. PIVX and Vulcan Forged led the losses, both dropping more than 18 percent. Hashflow hit a new low, while Viction and Across Protocol also saw significant declines. Interestingly, Vanar recorded a gain, though Binance noted it will not support the project's contract swap, requiring holders to manage the transition manually.
All six tokens were previously marked with a Monitoring Tag by the exchange. This label serves as a warning to traders that a coin may be at risk of removal. Because the delisting process follows this pattern, investors are now paying closer attention to other tokens currently carrying the same warning, such as Lisk and Stacks.
Looking ahead, the exchange has set firm deadlines for users. Binance Futures will settle all contracts for these tokens on August 7. After August 18, the exchange will stop accepting deposits for these assets. Holders have until October 17 to withdraw their remaining tokens from the platform.
