Arizona officials announced that 35 residents have successfully recovered $171,000 lost to crypto ATM scams. This success follows the implementation of new state laws designed to protect consumers from fraudulent transactions at digital currency kiosks.

The legislation allows qualifying new customers to receive full reimbursements for their losses. To be eligible, users must report the fraud to both the machine operator and local law enforcement within 30 days of the incident. This rule also covers the fees associated with those transactions.
