Across Protocol Relayer Hit by $4M Solana Exploit

Across Protocol recently suffered a security incident where a relayer operated by Risk Labs lost nearly 4 million dollars. The attacker managed to fabricate Solana deposit events that appeared legitimate to the protocol systems. By tricking the relayers, the attacker generated roughly 41.7 million dollars in fake deposit requests.

According to the official post incident report, the relayer paid out about 4.5 million dollars before the activity was identified and stopped. The protocol team confirmed that the damage remained under the 4 million dollar mark, as they took quick action to mitigate further losses. No user funds on the main bridge were impacted by this specific attack.
