XRP ETFs See Steady Inflows Despite 40 Percent Price Slump
Institutional investors are still buying XRP funds, but that interest has not stopped the coin from sliding this year.

LIVEXRP exchange traded funds secured another $27.29 million in inflows during July. This marks the fourth month in a row that these products have seen positive growth. Total inflows for the asset now sit at nearly $1.5 billion, which makes it a leader among altcoin investment products.
Despite this consistent interest from institutional players, the price of XRP remains under pressure. The token is trading near $1.08, which is a 40 percent drop since the start of the year. This performance reflects a broader struggle across the digital asset market where many tokens are failing to capture sustained momentum.
Several factors help explain why the price is not following the inflows. Grayscale chief executive Peter Mintzberg recently filed to sell a portion of his shares, adding supply to the market. Additionally, high levels of competition for capital from other products, such as those tracking Solana, have diluted the focus of major investors.
Traders are now watching to see if these oversold conditions will eventually lead to a reversal. While institutional appetite for XRP appears solid, the coin likely needs the rest of the altcoin sector to find its footing before it can move back toward its yearly highs.
