LIVERipple exchange traded funds have bounced back after a rare week of outflows. During the latest five day trading period, these funds recorded net inflows of 6.78 million dollars. This recovery nearly cancels out the 7 million dollars that left the funds during the second week of July, pushing the cumulative net inflows back toward their all time high of 1.5 billion dollars.
While the headline numbers look positive, the underlying data shows a potential warning sign. Nearly all of the recent 6.78 million dollars in inflows arrived on a single day. The remaining four trading days of the week showed zero reportable activity. In fact, seven of the last ten business days have recorded no net movement at all, suggesting that the initial hype around these financial products is fading.
Market analysts point to a few reasons for this sudden silence. The typical summer slowdown often leads to lower trading volumes across the board. Furthermore, the price of XRP has struggled to break through the 1.10 dollar resistance level. With the token down 3 percent over the last month, many traders are sitting on the sidelines until they see a clearer trend.
Investors should keep a close eye on these inflow numbers in the coming weeks. If the trend of zero activity continues, it may confirm that institutional demand is drying up for the time being. Whether this is just a temporary summer slump or a shift in sentiment remains the big question for XRP traders.
