Will Circle Arc Spark a Meme Coin Rally Like Robinhood Chain?
Circle is launching its new network soon, but analysts doubt it will mirror the wild meme coin activity seen on Robinhood Chain.

LIVECircle is scheduled to launch its Arc public mainnet on September 16. Many traders are asking if this new network will experience a massive meme coin frenzy similar to the one that hit Robinhood Chain earlier this year. According to industry analysts, the structural design of Arc makes a repeat of that chaos unlikely.
Robinhood Chain benefited from a unique set of conditions that Arc simply does not share. The Robinhood network featured a public mempool that allowed bots to front run trades, a massive existing base of retail users, and a fee model that rewarded high volume trading. In contrast, Arc operates with a select group of validators including major institutions like BlackRock and Visa. These entities have little interest in supporting the high risk speculation often found in meme coin markets.
Technical differences also set the two networks apart. Arc does not have a public mempool for bots to exploit, and its gas fees are paid in USDC rather than a native token with buyback features. While Uniswap and Aerodrome will be live on day one, the network is built to serve regulated institutional activities rather than the speculative retail demand that fueled Robinhood Chain.
Observers are now watching how the market reacts to the official launch. While Arc is technically compatible with other EVM chains, it remains a closed, consortium style network. Any attempt to start a meme coin craze there would face significant friction, making it a difficult environment for the typical speculative cycle to take root.
