While XRP struggles globally alongside Bitcoin, the South Korean market is showing unique signs of resilience.

LIVEXRP is having a tough month, trailing behind Bitcoin as both assets move downward in a falling price channel. Despite a 5 percent drop in value relative to Bitcoin, there is a clear divide in sentiment depending on the region. Global markets are seeing significant selling pressure, but South Korean traders are taking a different approach.
Data shows that Bitcoin is currently trading at a discount of over 1 percent on Korean exchanges, which suggests local traders are cautious. In contrast, XRP is trading near its global price on major platforms like Upbit. Because Korea is a primary market for the token, this lack of heavy selling pressure indicates that local holders are keeping their positions rather than dumping them.
Ripple is also working to build long term utility for the XRP Ledger. The company recently joined the Linux Foundation x402 group to focus on AI agent payments using both XRP and its stablecoin, RLUSD. This push into automated software payments aims to capture one of the fastest growing trends in the industry.
For now, the token remains closely tied to Bitcoin's performance. XRP needs to close above 1.11 dollars to break out of its current downward trend and target 1.18 dollars. If the price falls below 1.07 dollars, however, it may struggle to find support as it tests the 1.00 dollar psychological level.
