WEMIX Suspends Services Following Large Contract Breach

The WEMIX team confirmed a security breach involving a contract linked to its WEMIX dollar stablecoin. An attacker managed to move 724,198 USDC.e tokens, prompting an immediate emergency response from the network administrators.

To protect users and contain the damage, the team suspended bridges, liquidity pool trading, and several other associated services. These measures are designed to prevent further unauthorized outflows while the technical team assesses the vulnerability.
