Ukrainian law enforcement recently took down a sophisticated fraud ring operating out of Kyiv. This group targeted victims across Europe by placing deceptive investment advertisements on Telegram. These ads directed users to a fraudulent website designed to look like a legitimate cryptocurrency exchange.

Once victims linked their wallets to the fake platform, the scammers quickly siphoned their funds. Officials estimate the operation was moving up to one million dollars in stolen crypto every month before authorities finally intervened.
