Trezor Issues Warning After Shipping Provider Data Breach

Popular hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor recently shared some concerning news with its user base. A third party shipping provider suffered a security breach, exposing sensitive personal information belonging to nearly 14,000 customers across seven countries. The compromised data includes names, physical addresses, and email contact details.

Despite the exposed personal information, Trezor officials want users to know that their crypto funds remain completely safe. The breach did not affect any hardware wallets, private keys, or recovery seeds. Physical devices still function with the same high level of security as before the incident.

Even though the wallets are secure, affected users should stay on high alert for phishing attempts. Scammers often use stolen contact details to send convincing fake emails or text messages posing as support staff. Traders and holders should never share their recovery seed phrases with anyone, regardless of how official the message appears.
