Strive continues its aggressive bitcoin accumulation strategy with a fresh purchase of 21 coins.

LIVEStrive recently increased its bitcoin treasury by adding 21 coins to its balance sheet. According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the firm purchased the coins between July 13 and July 17 for approximately 1.3 million dollars. This move brings the company's total holdings to 19,921 BTC.
The Dallas based company funded this latest acquisition while simultaneously increasing its cash position. Strive reported that its cash and cash equivalents grew to 157.4 million dollars, an increase of 3.3 million dollars compared to the previous week. The average price paid for the latest batch of bitcoin was roughly 63,221 dollars per coin.
Chief Executive Matthew Cole maintains a clear strategy of accumulating bitcoin using perpetual preferred equity. This funding structure is intended to avoid the risks associated with convertible debt. Although the company has reported significant accounting losses due to share issuance and its bitcoin position, management remains focused on a long term goal of building a larger treasury.
