LIVEStrive has expanded its Bitcoin treasury by purchasing 1,375 BTC between August 31 and September 4. This acquisition brings the company total to 24,531 BTC. To fund these purchases, the firm issued nearly one million new SATA preferred shares in just one week.
This rapid expansion of the share base has increased the company total annual dividend obligation by roughly $12 million. Based on current figures, Strive is now set to pay out approximately $130 million in dividends annually to its preferred shareholders, maintaining a 13% dividend rate.
Despite the higher payout burden, the company cash position grew by $19.1 million during the same period. This suggests the firm is keeping its coverage ratio steady at about 18.7 months. Investors should monitor whether Strive can maintain this balance as it continues to grow its Bitcoin reserves through share issuances.
