Strategy has made headlines again by selling 1,638 Bitcoin worth approximately $105 million over the past week. This recent move continues a selling trend that started earlier this summer. Before these sales, the company paused trading for three weeks, following an earlier two week period where it sold 3,588 coins for $216 million.

The sales are part of a new monetization strategy meant to build up the firm's cash reserves and fund dividend payments. Chairman Michael Saylor reported that the company boosted its US dollar reserve by $250 million and bought back $81 million of its perpetual preferred stock, known as STRC.

While Strategy remains the biggest corporate holder of Bitcoin, these sales represent a notable change in tone. Saylor previously told investors to never sell their holdings, but he recently clarified that this advice applied only to his personal wallet. He stated that the public firm must actively manage its capital.

Traders are now watching to see how these ongoing corporate sales might impact broader market sentiment. As Strategy balances its cash needs with its massive crypto holdings, market participants will keep a close eye on future quarterly reports and treasury updates.
