LIVEStrategy has completed another week without adding to its massive Bitcoin stash, but the company also chose not to sell any coins during this period. Instead, the firm is prioritizing its liquidity. According to a recent regulatory filing, the company raised $333.7 million by selling over 3.4 million shares of its own common stock.
This shift in strategy highlights a move toward boosting the company cash buffer. The firm allocated $149.1 million to its dollar reserve, while using $132.2 million to repurchase preferred stock and paying out $52.4 million in dividends. This approach marks a departure from the aggressive Bitcoin purchasing that defined the company activity throughout 2025.
Investors are keeping a close watch as the firm stock, MSTR, has faced significant pressure in 2026. The stock is currently down over 60 percent year to date. Despite the recent pause in acquisitions, company leadership maintains that their long term outlook on Bitcoin remains unchanged.
Even with these changes, the firm remains the largest corporate holder of the asset, with 840,447 coins in its treasury. The market will continue to look for signals on when the company might resume its buying pace or if the current focus on cash reserves will persist throughout the rest of the year.
