RISEx has officially kicked off its public points program called Ignite: Season 1. This launch follows a successful invite only phase where the exchange processed over $3 billion in cumulative trading volume. Backed by names like Vitalik Buterin and Galaxy Ventures, the platform aims to reward its community as it expands its market presence.

Unlike many projects that rush into incentive programs, RISEx CEO Sam Battenally noted that the team focused on engine stability before opening the doors. The exchange currently features cross asset netted margining and native Real World Asset trading. With $26 million in open interest and $15 million in total value locked, the platform is now positioning itself to compete directly with centralized exchanges.

Ignite will distribute 200,000 points per week, with the first payout scheduled for July 28, 2026. The program is designed to discourage wash trading by tracking a range of metrics, including fees, slippage, and hold time. Every point minted in this program is allocated to actual users, such as traders and liquidity providers, rather than being spread across external projects.

Traders should keep an eye on the upcoming product roadmap, which includes the addition of native spot trading, AutoYield, and portfolio margin. The exchange uses the RISE Chain to achieve fast execution speeds and low latency while maintaining self custody. Interested users can check their eligibility and start participating through the official exchange portal.
