LIVEQuantum Solutions has increased its Ethereum sale limit to 4,375 tokens. The company recently sold 1,000 ETH at a price of $1,903 per token through its subsidiary, GPT Pals Studio. This move generated $1.9 million in cash, which the firm plans to put directly into building AI data centers and purchasing specialized hardware.
The board authorized the sale increase on July 30 to cover costs for GPU equipment and business expansion. Since June, the group has offloaded 1,904 ETH in total. While the company holds a remaining balance of roughly 4,764 ETH, a large portion of those tokens are tied up as collateral for a loan, leaving a smaller amount currently available for trading.
The sale came at a financial cost, as the tokens were sold below their original carrying value. Quantum Solutions expects to report an accounting loss of approximately $101,000 for the second quarter. This adjustment highlights the company's urgent shift toward artificial intelligence projects.
This trend mirrors what we have seen across the industry, particularly among Bitcoin miners. Companies are increasingly moving away from traditional mining operations to focus on high performance computing. Investors should watch whether more crypto treasury holders follow this path as the demand for AI infrastructure continues to grow.
