LIVEPi Network recently finished distributing its second testnet token, known as Slice, through the Pi Launchpad. The initiative follows earlier testing on PiDay back in March, which brought in nearly 480,000 participants. The core team used that initial feedback to update the participation process and improve the overall user experience before launching the Slice token test in June.
Pioneers can now use the Pi Browser to check their allocation details, view launch prices, and look at liquidity pools. The updated app also features a new chart that tracks price changes relative to test Pi. While the testnet update brings new features to test, the native token has faced a rough patch in the market recently.
PI dropped to a new all time low of $0.07 a couple of weeks ago after losing the ten cent support level. A brief twenty percent rally last Sunday failed to break past resistance, and the price fell by over ten percent to trade around $0.082. At the same time, some users are reporting odd wallet activity, including missing funds and failed transactions.
Traders and users should keep a close eye on future network updates and security announcements. Watch for official fixes regarding the wallet issues and any new details on mainnet progress as the community tests the new liquidity features.
