New XRPL Dashboard Reveals Unfinished Amendment Testing

XRPL developer Denis Angell has launched a live dashboard to track how well new ledger amendments are tested on the devnet. Instead of relying on trust, the tool provides a public scorecard that shows exactly which transaction types and features have been verified by real activity. It flags untested code in red and highlights finished testing in green.

The data shows that many upcoming features still have significant gaps. Out of 16 amendments currently being tracked, 13 show untested components. For instance, the Sponsor amendment has 65 untested checks, and MPTokensV1 is missing 27. The tool scans node data directly to ensure accuracy and has already uncovered dozens of documentation and testing gaps.

This project encourages the community to participate in verifying the ledger. By identifying these red gaps, developers can run specific transactions to reach full coverage before features are voted into the main protocol. The XLS 75 permission delegation amendment recently reached full coverage through this process.

Rigorous testing is becoming a priority as the network deals with past challenges regarding software adoption. Ensuring every feature is fully exercised before it becomes a permanent part of the protocol is a major step toward a more stable and transparent ledger.
