LIVEA Nasdaq listed company named AIxCrypto Holdings is planning an orderly exit from its crypto holdings after suffering steep losses and burning through millions in cash. The firm held a mix of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and other tokens with an initial cost basis of over $10 million, but their fair value dropped by roughly 50 percent to about $5.2 million by June 30.
The company reported an accumulated deficit of more than $150 million and used nearly $8 million in cash during the first half of the year. With minimal operating revenue and dwindling reserves, the firm cited serious doubts about its ability to continue operations without a major change in direction.
To survive, AIxCrypto is shifting its business model toward event robot rentals. The platform completed its first commercial order in August by deploying six robots for a Malibu event. The company plans to validate its operating economics in Los Angeles before trying to expand into ten more cities.
Traders should watch to see how the company executes its crypto sell off without crashing market prices for its remaining holdings. The success of the new robotics pivot will depend entirely on securing repeat customers and proving that the rentals can actually generate steady revenue.
