MicroStrategy has officially gone four consecutive weeks without purchasing any additional Bitcoin. While the firm remains the largest corporate holder of the asset, it recently chose to bolster its US dollar reserves by another $225 million instead of adding to its crypto balance.

This move follows a recent shift in strategy where the company sold 3,588 BTC for $216 million earlier this year. These sales were part of a new monetization program designed to increase cash on hand and support dividend payments for shareholders. Despite this pause, the company still holds a staggering 843,775 Bitcoin valued at approximately $54.9 billion.

Management reports that the firm now has enough capital to cover dividends for 1.8 years using its USD reserves, or up to 31 years using its Bitcoin holdings. Investors are watching closely to see if this pivot toward cash indicates a permanent change in how the company manages its treasury or if it is simply a short term adjustment.

Market participants continue to monitor MSTR stock performance, which has seen a 3 percent climb over the last five days despite a year to date decline of nearly 38 percent. Whether Michael Saylor resumes his aggressive accumulation strategy remains the key question for those tracking the stock.
