MEXC Launches Education Program as Crypto Traders Move Into Stocks
New data reveals over half of crypto users are trading stocks, but many feel held back by a lack of financial knowledge.
coinbeat.newsA shift is underway in the digital asset space as crypto traders expand their portfolios to include traditional stocks. Recent research shows that 53.7 percent of crypto users now hold stocks, while trading volumes for traditional financial assets on crypto platforms soared to 1.45 trillion dollars in the first half of 2026. This trend highlights the growing convergence between digital assets and legacy financial markets.
Despite this interest, many traders feel unprepared to move into new asset classes. The same study found that 43.1 percent of users avoid stock products due to a lack of knowledge, while nearly half of those who stopped trading stocks did so because they lacked a solid understanding of how those markets work. Traders often cite individual price movements and the rise of AI as factors that draw them into the stock market.
To bridge this knowledge gap, MEXC has introduced a program called Opportunity Compass. This initiative spans five seasons and thirty episodes designed to teach users about global financial markets, asset valuation, and macroeconomic trends. The program aims to help users build their own decision making frameworks rather than simply chasing individual products.
The project includes participation from various industry players, including Tether, Pyth, and Optimism, to provide a well rounded view of the financial landscape. As traditional finance and crypto become more connected, the focus remains on helping users understand the risks and mechanisms behind various assets. The content will be released through a dedicated hub starting in September 2026.
