Kraken to Liquidate Seven Assets for UAE Customers

Kraken is setting a hard deadline for customers in the United Arab Emirates. Withdrawals for seven specific assets will be disabled on September 14, 2026, at 14:00 UTC. If you hold XMR, ZEC, DASH, USDD, DAI, USDS, or USDE on the exchange, you need to move them to a private wallet before this time.

Once the withdrawal window closes, any remaining balances will be liquidated by the exchange between September 15 and September 25. Kraken has not provided a guarantee on which currency users will receive after the sale. This means customers could see their holdings converted into a currency they did not expect, or potentially face unfavorable market conditions during the liquidation process.

This move is part of an ongoing delisting cycle that Kraken announced earlier this year. While the exchange cites regular asset reviews as the reason for the change, it serves as a final warning for UAE residents to clear their accounts of these tokens. Traders should act immediately to avoid the uncertainty of the automated sell off process.
