Tokyo listed firm Eole just made history by becoming the first Japanese public company to hold Hyperliquid tokens. The company bought 1,078 tokens for roughly 10.08 million yen, with plans to invest a total of 100 million yen by the end of August. This purchase ties directly into the firm strategy for automated payment systems and smart contracts, adding to its existing Bitcoin reserves.

At the same time, the broader market tells a different story for US investors. US listed Hyperliquid funds have recorded their longest dry spell since launch, failing to see any new inflows since July 15. Investors pulled about $27 million over this stretch, pushing total fund assets down significantly. Large holders also moved substantial amounts of tokens to exchanges during the week.

Market data shows recent price weakness for the asset, down nearly 20 percent over the past 30 days and sitting well below its June all time high. Traders are watching to see if fresh corporate demand from Asia can offset the selling pressure and capital outflows coming from Western markets.
