Hunter Biden Launches LAPTOP Memecoin on Base with Unique Burn

Hunter Biden shared the tokenomics for his new memecoin, LAPTOP, just one day before its scheduled launch on the Base network. Out of a total supply of one billion tokens, thirty percent is linked to thirty public predictions. These predictions track real world outcomes, such as political events on Polymarket. If a prediction resolves as yes, those tokens are burned, but if it resolves as no, the tokens are donated to charity.

The project allocates another thirty percent of the supply to founders, including Biden, which is subject to a six month lockup and a two year vesting period. Ten percent of the supply is reserved for liquidity, while five percent supports the Phoenix Veritas Foundation. The remaining tokens include a twenty percent community airdrop, with specific portions set aside for subscribers to Biden's Substack and investors who suffered losses on the TRUMP token.

Biden presented this project as a way to reclaim his narrative following years of controversy surrounding his personal life. He explicitly warned potential buyers not to expect him or anyone else to increase the value of the token.
