Fraud Bust in California and Arizona Exposes Massive Identity Theft

Police in Southern California have arrested two individuals following a major investigation into identity theft. Investigators from the San Diego County Sheriff's office searched homes in Temecula and San Marcos, where they discovered boxes filled with forged documents, stolen passports, and credit cards.

Katie Ann Rhew and Michael Sundstrom face multiple charges including conspiracy, identity theft, and forgery. Officials believe the pair targeted residents across California and Arizona, potentially impacting more than 100 people. Authorities are currently working to contact those whose personal information was compromised.
