Florida Woman Arrested Following Bizarre Bank Scam Attempt

A Florida woman faces serious criminal charges after allegedly posing as a bank official to steal money from an elderly victim. Moniquie Love Turnbull reportedly told the victim that their bank account was compromised, hoping to seize their credit or debit cards. The victim grew suspicious of the claims and contacted the Martin County Sheriff’s Office instead of handing over their information.

Police tracked Turnbull down near Interstate 95 after receiving reports linking her to multiple similar incidents. During her subsequent arrest and transport to the local jail, officers discovered $3,200 in cash concealed inside her body. This resulted in an additional charge of introducing contraband into a detention facility.

Authorities are currently holding the recovered funds as evidence while they work to identify the rightful owners. Turnbull is now facing multiple felony counts, including schemes to defraud and fraudulent use of credit cards against a senior. Her bond has been set at $500,000 as the investigation into her activities continues.
