LIVEFlare just launched version 1.3 of its Smart Accounts, aimed at helping XRP holders participate in decentralized finance. The update removes several annoying hurdles for users, including the need to create new wallets or manually bridge assets to other chains. Now, investors can access yield vaults with just a single wallet signature, making the process much faster than the previous two step approval method.
Technically, the system works by converting XRP into FXRP and depositing it into a chosen yield vault after a single approval. Flare uses its Data Connector to verify the transaction while the original XRP stays locked on the ledger at a one to one ratio. This allows users to keep control of their assets without needing to manage gas tokens on different blockchains.
The update comes as interest in FXRP grows, with total activity across platforms rising by nearly 75 percent since February. Flare reports that over 40 million XRP is already earning yield through these accounts. With this release, the team added the Clearstar vault alongside the existing Monarq option, giving users more choices for how their assets are put to work.
This new version supports popular wallets like Xaman, Ledger, and D'CENT. Joey Wallet has even integrated the feature directly into its app. Traders should keep an eye on how these simplified interfaces influence the total amount of XRP moving into decentralized finance over the coming months.
