LIVEEthereum exchange traded funds saw a significant boost on August 19, recording $189 million in net inflows. This is the largest single day intake for these products since October of last year. The surge helped total net assets for these funds climb to over $12 billion, marking a sharp recovery after several months of negative performance earlier this year.
BlackRock led the way with its ETHA fund, which captured the majority of the new capital. Fidelity and the Grayscale mini trust also saw healthy participation. While these three funds accounted for most of the movement, four of the 11 available products recorded zero inflows, showing that capital is still flowing toward the most established providers.
This demand aligns with a broader rally across crypto markets. Falling treasury yields and a weaker dollar prompted many traders to move back into higher risk assets. Alongside Ethereum, Bitcoin funds enjoyed a massive day with over $517 million in inflows.
Investors are now watching to see if this trend continues. Whether these inflows represent a long term shift in sentiment or a brief reaction to macroeconomic news will depend on the performance of these funds over the coming week.
