DCENT Rebrands and Launches New Premium Hardware Wallet
DCENT is shifting its focus from simple storage to a complete digital asset ecosystem with a fresh look and new hardware.
After eight years in the industry, the digital asset wallet company known as D'CENT is updating its look. The firm is officially changing its name to DCENT, dropping the apostrophe, and introducing a new lime green color scheme. The company stated that this change represents a shift from being just a storage tool to a complete platform that handles backup, recovery, and management.
To support this new vision, the company introduced the DCENT X. This premium hardware wallet features a 2.4 inch touchscreen and a fingerprint scanner, which makes it easier for users to review and approve transactions. Along with the existing DCENT S model, the company is pushing a new recovery card system meant to replace the need for manually writing down recovery phrases.
Beyond individual users, the company is now moving into the institutional space. The new DCENT Enterprise solution offers businesses tools to manage digital assets with multi level approval systems. By connecting personal hardware wallets with these corporate services, the company hopes to build a more flexible environment for all types of crypto participants.
These changes come at a time when hardware wallets are becoming central to how people interact with staking and decentralized services. The team currently supports over 10,000 tokens across 100 different networks. Traders should keep an eye on how these new enterprise solutions and premium hardware options impact the company's position in the competitive wallet market.
