Circle is pulling its USDC support from the Noble appchain. This move forces the Cosmos ecosystem to relocate its primary dollar liquidity to Injective by January. Currently, about 92 million dollars in USDC sits on Noble, and developers must now shift integrations and liquidity to the new hub to avoid issues.

Noble previously acted as the central point for issuing native USDC across more than 50 Cosmos networks. With Circle ending minting on Noble on October 13, the ecosystem is pivoting to Injective. Users can start migrating their assets from the old USDC.n format to the new USDC.inj format using the Skip:Go tool starting September 11.

While the final shutdown date for Noble is January 12, 2027, the practical deadline is much sooner. Limits on cross chain transfers begin to tighten on October 31, and liquidity providers face a strict cutoff. If assets remain in smart contracts or liquidity pools after the January deadline, they may not qualify for manual redemption, making a swift transition critical for protocols.

Developers are currently working to update wallets and decentralized exchanges to support the new Injective based USDC. Cosmos Labs suggests that users and protocols should move their assets before the end of October to avoid potential friction as official support for the legacy chain fades.
