LIVECanary Capital Group has officially launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF, trading under the ticker TRXS. The new fund tracks the spot price of TRX, which is the native utility token of the TRON blockchain. Beyond simple price tracking, the fund aims to earn extra TRX by participating in the TRON network validation process. Net staking rewards will reflect directly in the fund net asset value, giving traditional market participants a new way to earn yield.
Steven McClurg, CEO of Canary Capital, noted that TRON has grown into a vital piece of global payment and settlement infrastructure, particularly due to high stablecoin adoption. TRON currently supports over $94 billion in circulating Tether and has processed massive transfer volumes this year. TRON founder Justin Sun also welcomed the launch, calling it an important step for institutional access to blockchain infrastructure.
Traders and investors should watch how market demand shapes up for TRXS in the coming weeks. While the product opens up new avenues for crypto exposure through a traditional exchange traded structure, the fund carries high risks. Digital assets remain volatile, and staking rewards are not guaranteed to stay steady over time.
