LIVEBNB Chain is moving forward with legal action against a former employee who allegedly used a tutorial wallet to launch a memecoin. The individual reportedly used the project's own testing tools to gain an unfair advantage during the token release.
On chain analysis shows the individual bought nearly 80 percent of the total supply of the ASTEROID token for 10,000 dollars. Shortly after the token hit the market, they sold the majority of those holdings for roughly 638,000 dollars. This rapid sell off left other traders holding tokens that quickly lost their value.
This incident serves as a reminder for traders to remain cautious when dealing with newly launched memecoins. Even tokens associated with well known ecosystems can carry significant risks when bad actors exploit internal access. Investors should always look for transparent distribution models before committing funds to small cap projects.
