LIVEBNB Chain just rolled out Agent Studio v2, bringing major upgrades to its AI agent building platform. While the first version let developers deploy agents using simple text prompts, those bots could spend funds but could not receive payments. The new release closes that gap by allowing AI agents to earn their own income, completing the ERC 8183 commerce flow so they can get hired and paid directly.
Security and control are central to the new release. The update introduces Altana, a self custodial wallet option that lets users set strict financial rules for their bots. Owners can define spending limits, allowed addresses, and time bounds that are recorded directly onchain. This means a yield bot can harvest and restake earnings without gaining access to the main user funds. Developers also get new tools, including TypeScript support alongside Python and a Paymaster that covers gas fees on the BSC Testnet.
This update matters because it pushes AI and crypto integration further into practical use cases. As autonomous agents become more common in trading and task management, having clear onchain boundaries prevents security disasters while opening up new revenue streams. Traders and builders should watch how these new agent wallets get adopted across the ecosystem as autonomous applications scale up.
