BlueNoroff Hackers Target Crypto Users with Fake Meeting Apps

The infamous hacker group known as BlueNoroff has found a new way to trick crypto holders. Security researchers report that the group uses fake Zoom and Teams video meetings to target people in the digital asset space. Victims are tricked into downloading malicious software that can compromise their crypto wallets in less than five minutes.

This campaign has already hit more than 100 victims across 20 countries. The attackers typically pose as recruiters or investors, inviting targets to discuss job opportunities or partnerships. Once the victim joins the fake meeting, the trap springs.
