Bitcoin Nears $67,000 as Major Crypto Stocks Join the Rally

Bitcoin is gaining momentum again as the price moves toward the $67,000 mark. The leading cryptocurrency was recently trading at $66,886, which is a jump of nearly 3% over the last 24 hours. This push brings the total gains for the week to about 6%, showing a bit of strength in a market that has faced plenty of pressure lately.

The move is also helping crypto linked stocks. Shares in the firm known as Strategy climbed above $100 on Tuesday, even though the company recently sold $225 million in stock to boost its cash reserves. Other major players joined the rally as well. Coinbase saw its stock price surge by 11%, while the mining firm Marathon Digital rose by more than 6%.

This bounce is a welcome sight for investors after a difficult period. Bitcoin hit a massive all time high of $126,080 in October, but it has dropped nearly 50% since that peak. High inflation and uncertainty around interest rates have kept the market in check, especially with ongoing conflicts in the Middle East causing concern for global economies.
